Latisse |
|
Does Latisse make the eyelashes longer, fuller or both?
Both.
Does Latisse have any toxins in it that could damage vision if applied incorrectly?
No, believe it or not Latisse is a preparation of a drug used to treat glaucoma and save vision. One of it's side effects in people using it for glaucoma was excessively thick and long eye lashes- hence a new wonder cosmetic treatment. One of it's other side effects however is the appearance of dark brown spots in the iris (colored part) of the eye. This occurs rarely but can be permanent when it does. When Latisse is used correctly as instructed by the manufacturer-very small amounts (only what's on the applicator) and placed only on the eyelid skin at the base of the lash then the chance of this side effect occurring would be very unlikely.
