Question:

My face seems almost two dimensional. I have absolutely no cheekbones. I am interested in getting some facial definition and I think that cheek implants might do this. What kinds of implants do you use? Is this preferred for cheek augmentation over fat transfer?

Answer:

I have found Sculptra to be a wonderful treatment for this and so am doing many less cheek implants. Sculptra is done in the office with a series of treatments over 3-4 months. It is safe, not painful, there is no downtime and can last 2 years or more. Otherwise if patients have really insufficient skeletal structure I will use either medpor or silicone implants on the cheek.

Question:
I want so smooth out my jowls and laugh lines but do not want surgery. Do you have injectable fillers that can be used in this area of the face?
Answer:

Yes, Radiesse and sculptra are very good options for this type of treatment.
