I heard there’s one type of Juvederm that has lidocaine in it. Does this mean that other Juvederms and other types of injectable fillers don’t have lidocaine? And are injections painful enough that this is necessary?
Every patient has different levels of tolerance for injections of Juvederm. Some patients require no numbing agents or anesthesia at all. For others there are many ways to avoid pain with numbing creams, nerve blocks or local anesthetic mixed with the filler. A consultation with a board certified surgeon will help you determine what’s the best alternatives for you.
