Question:
I have a small hump on my nose and one doctor said that he could do it without making any external incisions and by just filing down the hump. He said it would not need to be broken. Does this sound right?
Answer:
Small nasal humps can often be removed through an endonasal approach without external incisions. If the hump is small enough that after it is filed down it does not creates an “open roof” then you can get away without osteotomies.
