I am a thirty year old Japanese American man, and though I am ashamed to admit it, I would like to look more like an American. One of the procedures I have looked into is Asian rhinoplasty. What sort of incisions would be made to my nose to make it look more American?
It’s not incisions that are different in your case but intraoperative maneuvers. Most Asians require augmentation of the bridge of the nose to achieve the look you are describing. This may involve using cartilage grafts or implants depending on your goal and surgeon’s preference. If your tip and base are flat or horizontally oriented, then different techniques are used to narrow and refine it.
