I’m from Davie, Florida, and I have a very large hump on my nose that I would like improved. I like my nose from the front view, but the hump is very noticeable on profile. Will altering the hump change the way my nose looks from the front or just on profile?
Yes it will. All parts of the nose are interrelated and changing one does affect the others. Only in a very few situations can you only work on one area. Removing a large hump will make the frontal view look flat and wide unless the bones are narrowed with an osteotomy. This in turn will then make the tip look wider so that will have to be made to blend in.
