Im about to turn 60 and while I feel like I look relatively young for my age, I still feel like I could use some work. Im considering a facelift and would like to know what sort of techniques there are that involve the least amount of scarring.
You’ll get the least amount of “scarring” by making sure you place yourself in the hands of a trained and experienced facial plastic surgeon. When most people ask this question they are really referring to the length of the scar. Rather than worrying about the length you need to be certain that the procedure you have will address your aging concerns. A trained surgeon will make the scar well hidden no matter what the length. Short scar facelifts are wonderful for specific patients andaging problems. Many patients however require more extended work to achieve their desires. I’m a strong proponentthat if alittle bigger procedure, with a little more downtime and cost delivers a terrific, long lasting result then it easily beats having a “OK improvement” for a short time just to have a shorter scar.
