My eyes have problems on both the top and bottom. I am fair skinned with blue eyes, and that seems to make the bags under my eyes more noticeable. I also have hooded eyes – is that just too much skin below the eyebrow? I would like blepharoplasty to remove the bags and drooping skin. How long does this procedure take? Are my eyes covered afterwards or will I be able to see?
Almost everything you are describing can be improved with upper and lower blepharoplasty provide your brow is in good position. If you have a low brow contributing to the upper lid hooding then a brow lift may be necessary as well. These procedures typically take about two hours. While you will be able to see post op you will be swollen and be limited in your activities for several days and need help or assistance.
