What is Radiesse? What is it best used to treat and how long do results last?
Radiesse is a filler made of tiny calcium crystals called hydroxyapatite. These are identical to the mineral structure of our bones, just without any of the living tissue. It has many uses, both medical and cosmetic. As a cosmetic filler it is best used to fill deep folds and lines, add volume to the cheeks and jawline, and is often used for small contour changes on the nose. It should last 9 months to a year, with some reporting as long as 18 months.
